[W8lrc] In Memory of Bob KD8HNF Diamond Club Sponsorship

Good morning everyone,
I just wanted to let everyone know that after last night’s Zoom meeting the club received a very special donation.  We received a donation of $100 towards the Diamond Club in MEMORY of BOB ROBINSON KD8HNF.

This donation will cover our RENT and help our club for the entire month of DECEMBER.  We are going to designate December 2020 in memory of Bob KD8HNF.

It was voted on last night that Bob’s TS-480 and FTDX-3000 radios will be installed into the club shack (replacing our TS-2000 and IC-746) for use by members.  These will also be identified in memory of Bob with some type of signage or plaque.

Our club misses our friend, but we appreciate the legacy he has left behind through his donation.  We will get the radios into service ASAP and utilize this Diamond Club sponsorship donation to remember and grow our club throughout the end of the year!

This legacy is one we hope as a club to continue and grow into the future even through these challenging times.  The zoom meeting last night worked our really well, please plan to join us in December!
